Privacy Policy

Effective date: April 2026 · Last updated: April 7, 2026

Vantage Pitch AB (“Vantage Pitch,” “we,” “us”) is a Swedish company that provides an AI-powered founder development platform. This privacy policy explains what data we collect from founders and accelerator administrators who use our platform, how we process it, where it is stored, and what rights you have over it.

We wrote this policy to be read, not to satisfy a word count. If something is unclear, email privacy@vantagepitch.com and we will answer directly.

OUR COMMITMENT

Vantage Pitch is built on four founding principles. The second is Safety: every interaction on this platform is with AI. No human sees what you share during the process. Your input is yours. We protect that trust architecturally, not just by policy.

1. What we collect

Account information

When you create an account, we collect your name and email address. Authentication is handled by Clerk, a third-party identity provider. We do not store passwords.

Founder inputs

During the advisory process, you may provide:

  • An uploaded pitch deck (PDF or PPTX)
  • A voice recording of your pitch and its transcript
  • Your resume or LinkedIn URL
  • Written answers to homework questions
  • Spoken responses during AI advisory interviews

This is the most sensitive data on the platform. It contains your business strategy, financial projections, competitive advantages, and honest assessments of your weaknesses. We treat it accordingly.

Generated outputs

The platform generates slide content, coaching feedback, readiness scores, session summaries, and final deliverables (pitch decks, investor decks, appendix materials, one-pagers). These are produced by AI based on your inputs.

Usage data

We collect basic usage data: which modules you have completed, your readiness score, timestamps, and session durations.

2. How we use your data

We use your data for these purposes and no others:

  • Delivering the service. Your inputs are processed by AI to generate personalized advisory content, homework questions, coaching feedback, and deliverables.
  • Improving the platform. We analyze anonymized, aggregated patterns across all users (not individual data) to identify common gaps, improve question quality, and refine coaching.
  • Communicating with you. We send transactional emails: homework notifications, session reminders, and deliverable availability alerts. We do not send marketing emails.
  • Providing accelerator visibility. If you are part of an accelerator cohort, your accelerator administrator can see your progress metrics, readiness scores, and finished deliverables. They cannot see your individual interview transcripts, homework answers, or raw inputs.

3. Where your data is stored and processed

Data at rest

All founder data is stored in Supabase, hosted on Amazon Web Services in the EU-West-1 (Ireland) region. Your pitch decks, voice recordings, transcripts, homework answers, interview records, and generated deliverables all reside in the European Union.

Data in transit

When you interact with the AI advisory modules, your inputs are sent to the following third-party services for processing:

  • Anthropic Claude API (AI processing). Your inputs are sent to Anthropic for AI inference. Anthropic retains API inputs and outputs for 7 days for abuse detection, then deletes them automatically. API data is never used for model training. Inference may occur in the US, Europe, Asia, or Australia. Anthropic provides a Data Processing Addendum with Standard Contractual Clauses for GDPR compliance.
  • Deepgram (voice transcription). Your voice recording is sent to Deepgram for transcription. The audio is processed and the transcript returned. Deepgram does not retain audio data after processing.
  • Resend (email). Your email address is used by Resend to deliver transactional emails. Email content does not include your founder inputs.
  • Clerk (authentication). Your name and email address are processed by Clerk for login and account management. Clerk is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
  • Vercel (hosting). The web application is served by Vercel. Vercel processes HTTP requests but does not store founder input data.

IMPORTANT

No third-party service has access to your complete dataset. Each service processes only the specific data required for its function. The Anthropic API, which handles the most sensitive processing, deletes all data within 7 days and never uses it for training.

4. Who can see your data

Access to founder data is strictly limited:

  • You. You can see and download all of your own data at any time.
  • The AI system. Claude processes your inputs during advisory sessions. No human at Anthropic reads individual API requests in normal operation.
  • Your accelerator administrator (limited). If you are part of a cohort, the accelerator admin sees: your progress through modules, your readiness score, and your finished deliverables. They do not see your interview transcripts, homework answers, gap analysis details, or any raw input you provided during the process.
  • Vantage Pitch administrator (limited). The platform administrator can see aggregated statistics across all founders. Individual founder inputs, transcripts, and homework answers are not accessible to the administrator during the pilot phase. Post-pilot, application-level encryption will ensure that individual founder data cannot be accessed by any human, including the platform administrator.

We do not sell, share, license, or otherwise provide your data to investors, third parties, advertisers, or any entity outside the services listed above.

5. Data retention

Your data is retained for the duration of your active account. If you request deletion, we will:

  • Delete your account and all associated data from our database within 30 days
  • Confirm deletion in writing to your email address
  • Note that data already processed by the Anthropic API is automatically deleted within 7 days of processing and cannot be recovered
  • Note that anonymized, aggregated patterns derived from your data before deletion may persist, but these cannot be traced back to you

6. Your rights

Under GDPR and applicable Swedish data protection law, you have the right to:

  • Access all data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”)
  • Export your data in a portable format
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interest
  • Withdraw consent at any time
  • Lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY)

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@vantagepitch.com. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies that collect personal data. If we add optional analytics in the future, we will update this policy and implement a cookie consent mechanism before doing so.

8. Children

This platform is designed for startup founders and is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

9. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. The current version is always available at vantagepitch.com/privacy.
